A relaxing family holiday on Moreton Island in the second week of the Term 1 NSW school holidays.  Note: This trip coincides with Easter so we need to book ASAP as we’re also in competition with QLD locals for sites and ferry bookings.
We’ll start our trip departing the Port of Brisbane on the Easter Sunday morning and return on the Friday in the early afternoon.  I will try to organize group accommodation on the Saturday night for anyone interested so let me know ASAP please.  Costs to be advised.
We will set up at Comboyuro Point campground which is a short hop, skip and jump from your tent/trailer to the beach where kids can swim. From here we will do day trips to points of interest around the island.
Each day at happy hour we can discuss where to go the next day to swim, play and sightsee.
If you decide to try sandboarding on a piece of Masonite, please bring wax or it definitely won’t work! (I tried and failed in Nov’18). The kids on hard plastic backed body boards had much more success.
Trailer camper friendly although the track to and from the campground can be tricky if the tide is in forcing you on to the sandy and often rutted inland track.
